Camp Madness in the Portal

Posted by Wonchop - September 21st, 2008

Finally I have something to release on NG again!
Anyhoo, I've finished my Madness Day flash and am releasing it a little bit early cos hey, it's pretty much Madness Day in Japan and Australia at least.
Boat 5
There should also be a new toon released on Friday, so look out for that too.
EDIT: Okay, Credit Crunch is now in the portal!
And now to make the contents in this journal almost completely ignorable, here's a Youtube Poop of one of the Catface eps I animated. (I should really get Weebl to release more of those on Newgrounds at some point.)

I voted 5. ;-D

5 too, it was great

Also credit crunch made me laugh.

You know the whole "intentionally releasing movies BEFORE the actual day each NG contest holiday in order to win portal awards while still being allowed to take a shot at cash prizes" thing you got going?
Yeah, stop that.

It's more to do with the fact I'm impatient on releasing stuff after finishing it than that. Most of the time it's a rush job on the day.

And why am I the only one being picked on for it. D=

Haha, that was pretty cool man.

Why is Weebl always so far behind in releasing things to Newgrounds?
Don't get me wrong, I love the guy.
But shouldn't his site release go hand in hand with the Newgrounds release?

Usually he likes his animations to be on his site for at least a week before sticking them on Newgrounds, so people visit his site more often. Catface just constantly slips his mind.

yeah that was brilliant

this will be one of the many amazing videos this year

nice touch by not using simple sprites either

and the cat face poop sucked

Not the best poop I know. The ending kinda dragged, but I did enjoy it for 'getting busy with the phone'

It was ok....

Nice.

Thanks for the protection point. ;3

More visitors to the site makes sense.

I think there have been quite a handful of missed out animations over the years.
A number of Weebl and Bob (maybe they are site exclusive now?)
And a few just random things, like the new Hot Tamales

Whatever. I for one won't hold it against him. Haha

Oh Squeakytoad.. It's the 22nd here now, so you're A OK in my books Wonchopers.

Thank you, Ross.

next year I think Imma talk to tom about early submission penalty, they should definitely be disqualified

Why is it I'm the only one getting the flack? D=>

This one time, someone put a dick in my ass, and it kinda hurt because im not used to such faggotry. Thats how your flash made me feel.

You enjoyed it really and you know it.

It was good. The Madness thing, not the Catface thing :P

As for impatiently posting them after you're finished? Try leaving one last thing for the day so you won't have that issue ;)

I think it's a bit silly to make a big deal out of it. The daily award doesn't mean you're going to go home with a cash prize. Also, we have these things called time zones.

Not that it really made a difference anyway, since it got whupped by all the high scoring non-madness flashes.

I wasn't really making a fuss. You just have done that several times now and it's a little on the corny side.

It's actually the first time I've done it actually.

:O thanks for posting my youtube poop!

Heh no prob. Weebl found it amusing too.

IT BURNS MY NONEXISTENT EYES!!! i loled at that :D

Lol so many people have mispelt it and I'm not even sure how I should spell it either.

Are you making a flash to IT geeks? Or did you stop?

oh and I watched Camp Madness the you realeased it and, I LOL'ed on the "IT BURNS MY NON-EXISTANT EYES!!" and the Garfield short at the end of it.

*waits for your response*

I really should, but I just haven't had a good idea for the past year or so.

I gotta say that I think it's great that you took part in Madness Day.
Steve (Wilkos) can't get enough of those little guys running around and shooting at each other!

But violence isn't always fun- in fact in a lot of cases it can lead to real harm.
That's why I suggest we leave violence out of real life and limit it only to the cartoons and movies.

Springer's Final Thought:

Sure, violence is great fun and it's sometimes tempting to push through to the front of the crowd to get a better view - just ask most of my guests!
But violence is usually a by-product of ignorance and ignorance can only be overcome by understanding.

Until next time, take care of yourself...

...and each other.
